Extra allowance for shift work
The shift allowance is an extra payment for employees who work in shifts, such as morning, afternoon, or night shifts. The amount is usually laid down in the collective agreement and varies by sector and type of shift. Night shifts typically receive a higher allowance than morning or afternoon shifts.
