Personal protective equipment at work
Personal protective equipment (PPE) are items that employees wear or use to protect themselves against health and safety risks at work. Examples include safety helmets, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The employer is legally obliged to provide PPE free of charge and ensure instruction on proper use.
