Payrolling
Arrangement where payroll company is the formal employer
Payrolling is an arrangement where a payroll company formally acts as the employer, while the employee actually works at the client company. Since the Labour Market in Balance Act (WAB), payroll employees are entitled to the same employment conditions as directly employed workers. The payroll company handles salary administration and legal employer duties.
“In payrolling, the payroll company is legally the employer, but the employee works at the client's location.”
