The notice period that must be observed when giving notice of termination of an employment contract.

The notice period is the period that an employer or employee must observe when terminating an employment contract. For employees, the statutory notice period is 1 month. For employers, the notice period depends on the number of years of service: 1 month for less than 5 years, 2 months for 5-10 years, 3 months for 10-15 years, and 4 months for 15+ years of service.

The statutory notice period for the employee is one month.
