Minimum wage
The statutory minimum amount that an employer must pay per hour.
The statutory minimum wage (WML) is the minimum amount that an employer must pay an employee per hour. Since 2024, a statutory minimum hourly wage applies. The minimum wage is adjusted twice a year (1 January and 1 July). For employees aged 21 and older, the full minimum wage applies; for younger employees, a percentage thereof applies (the youth minimum wage).
