Goed werknemerschap

Good Employeeship

Employee's legal duty to act properly

Good employeeship is a legal standard from article 7:611 of the Civil Code that obliges the employee to behave as a good employee. This means loyalty, following reasonable instructions, and considering the employer's interests. An employee who structurally refuses to carry out reasonable tasks may be acting in violation of good employeeship.

Good employeeship means that the employee follows reasonable instructions from the employer.
