Good Employership
Employer's legal duty to act properly
Good employership is a legal standard from article 7:611 of the Civil Code that obliges the employer to behave as a good employer. This includes careful conduct, reasonableness, and fairness in the employment relationship. Examples include providing a safe working environment, fair treatment of employees, and transparent communication about important decisions.
“Good employership requires the employer to carefully consider the employee's interests.”
