Flexible Working Act, adjustment of working hours

The Flexible Working Act gives employees the right to submit a request to their employer for adjustment of working duration, working hours, or workplace. The employee must have been employed for at least 26 weeks to make a request. The employer must seriously consider the request and can only refuse if there are compelling business interests.
