Digital identity for government services
DigiD (Digital Identity) is the digital identification tool that allows residents of the Netherlands to log in to government services and other organizations. With DigiD, a labour migrant can file tax returns, apply for benefits, and receive government communication. A BSN is required to apply for DigiD, and activation can be done via the app or by letter.
