Secondment
The temporary making available of an employee to another company.
Posting (detachering) (or the secondment of employees) means that an employee is temporarily loaned to another company, while the original employment relationship remains in place. In the case of cross-border posting within the EU, the employment conditions of the host country apply (the Posted Workers Directive). The employer must register with the online notification portal for posting and apply the Dutch core terms of employment.
